Allele — Prompts that evolve

Allele — Prompts that evolve.

A governed prompt optimization system: prompts evolve through measurable, cited, budget-bounded runs, with a human approving every change before it ships.

Available Allele is available today. The demo panel below shows Allele's recorded demo run — real evaluation scores from an actual optimization run, not a simulation.

The share of the test corpus's known eligibility rules this prompt's output captured.: 0.583

What this panel shows, and why
These are the only two candidates recorded from this run — a starting candidate and the fittest candidate Allele's selection converged on. No intermediate generations are shown here because none were recorded for this evidence run.

About the name

An allele is a variant of a gene at a locus — one of the different forms a gene can take at its position on a chromosome, competing through inheritance and selection until one variant predominates. Allele borrows that same discipline for prompt optimization: each run holds a population of candidate prompts (alleles) competing at a locus — the position in your pipeline the prompt fills — and selection favors the fittest variant, generation over generation, the same way natural selection favors the fittest allele in a population.

Glossary

Allele
A variant of a gene at a locus; here, one candidate prompt in a population Allele is evolving.
Fitness
A numeric score, 0 to 1, measuring how well a candidate prompt performs against a run's evaluation criteria.
Generation
One round of candidate evaluation, selection, and variation in an evolutionary run.
Locus
The position a gene occupies; here, the specific point in your pipeline the evolving prompt fills.
Selection
The process of favoring higher-fitness candidates to produce the next generation.
